Welcomes, Reunions, and Lily Grace's Birthday

Hey Eveybody,

We had a great welcome home for Lily Grace last Saturday. We had lots of fun and the food was great. Lily met lots of new friends and Mom was grabbing all the children one by one. I played with my friend Joseph Hooven, who got back from China in January.

Now, this is what I call traffic!

This week our football team traveled to East Lawrence, near Decatur, Alabama and we won our game 34-6.

This past Saturday we went to Lifeline's 25th Anniversary picnic. We had so much fun there. There were rides and clowns and moon bounces. Me and Lily enjoyed every minute of it. That afternoon after we got back, me and my Dad went to Canebrake Golf Club and played 9 holes of golf. I had lots of fun and I had a pretty good score. Dad was pretty pleased with how good I could play golf. I ended the 9th hole with a successful putt from over 20 feet away. It went right in.

After that, we came home and today we woke up to a wonderful greeting of Lily Grace screaming from her bed excited for her 2nd birthday. Me and Dad went to church and when we came home, we had Lily Grace's first ever birthday party. She enjoyed it so much and the cake that Dad bought was absolutely delicious. For her birthday, Lily got a new kitchen set, an alphabet truck, and some more play toys. She was screaming with laughter and so happy. I'm so glad God has blessed us with my new little sister. Even though I have been so busy, every day when I come home Lily Grace greets me and I feel like there is an angel inside of her that's just making my day even better.

I'm ready for bed! Somebody take me upstairs.

That's all for now.

God Bless,
Austin

Finally an Update

Hey Everybody,

I guess you realize that this will be probably a long blog because I will try to be catching up but I don't think I'll ever finish. Before the Labor Day, we played Athens and unfortunately it came as a loss. But our next game, the Friday after we came back in the fourth quarter to beat Priceville in our second game, 35 to 21.

The Sunday before Labor Day, I was inducted into the Junior Beta Club. My mom and dad were very proud. Lily enjoyed the party afterward.

That Labor Day mom's friends Mrs. Lori and Laura, came over with their chidren. We had a whole lot of fun and they all loved to have fun. We played all afternoon and everyone enjoyed it. I gave the girls rides in my old wagon - four at at time!

School has been going well and on my recent progress report, were all A's. My teachers seem to all enjoy me and they are very nice. Everyday all the girls that I have told about Lily come to me and ask me what she's been doing lately.

This week our football team plays DAR( Daughters of the American Revolution Acadamy)Patriots. I think we have a good chance of winning as long as we do our best, but I won't be the judge of that well that's all for now.

Love You all and GOD Bless!
